Communicate.com is making headlines yet again, with another huge domain announcement. A November 17th press release states it's just acquired Stereos.com. Although the on line presser doesn't mention a sales figure, Sedo.com's recent sales chart shows the virtual price tag at 30,000 USD!
This latest triple w takeover comes just weeks after Communicate had dropped the rights of it's Rugby.com domain name to North Carolina based investment company, Peninsula Investments, for a whopping 350,000 thousand dollars! Making it one of the largest single domain sale transfers of 2004!
The company reports to use it's newly acquired dot com for the upcoming holiday season, as an ad based site. The web enterprise hopes the new type-in generator will increase revenue growth for their fourth quarter, with future plans to develop the hi-fi web address into a stereo and electronics based shopping portal. The revamp is expected to occur after the Christmas rush, at an undisclosed date in 2005.
